Input your car registration number, into our booking system homepage. If your unsure of your vehicle reg, if you enter your postcode it will still produce costs for conducting a MOT at all garages, and you can press the Contact garage button, if you enter what type of car you have, our garage will respond with a quote within 5 minutes of you entering the details.

Enter your car reg number,  then enter your postcode. You’ll then be taken to all our search results, this display all garages in your local area with prices for the work required for your car.. You’ll can compare the garages in your area view prices and check out booking availability. Once you have chosen your garage & confirmed the what s requires you need click “View all prices” which then allows you to choose the services you require, the price is automatically calculated. Then press the book now button which will the prompt you to enter the date and time of your preferred booking. We have included a comment field in case you wish for the garage to review any other fault you may have with your car. Once you’ve completed this our system will put you through to the payment area. We ask you to enter your debit/credit card details and we reserve only 5% of your total due. We do NOT take that payment until after you have received your car back and all car service and repairs have been completed.

We know not all our customers are always internet aware and don’t like to book online. We encourage anyone who doesn’t wish to book online to call us on 0845 8386342  and we will find a suitable appointment for you.  

Some of our garages can accept a same day bookings if they have availability. If you use the “Contact Garage” button and inform us you require same day booking, we shall endeavour to find one for you locally to you.

 

Our system allows Bookings to be made up to a year in advance. However if you contact us and wish to book an appointment more than a year in advance, were more than happy to accommodate.  

 

Yes garages will offer many other car repair services (eg. Tyres, exhausts, air con recharge, gear box replacement etc)  which may not be bookable on Book my MOT and Service. If you have a requirement for an additional service, i.e. brake pad replacement, or any other service, simply go to that Garage record and press the send Garage enquiry button and that garage will et back to you with a quote for any additional work you require.

You don’t pay upfront on Book my MOT and Service or the garage you book with. You won’t pay anything until the work is done. We take your card details at the time of booking but do NOT charge your card, very much in the same way a hotel booking site takes your card details but doesn’t charge you until your arrival at the hotel. Its known as Card Pre Authorisation.  

You can enter the details at time of booking in the comments field, or you can simply press the send garage enquiry button against any garage and send your requirements through.

 

Once your booking is confirmed, we will confirm the booking by email. In some cases our garage may send further details or request clarification, which shall be done through email. Rarely the garage may require to reschedule your appointment, but it will always be on a date and time convenient to you.

Garages set their Calendar availability, on occasion circumstances out with their control may dictate the garage needs to close, we will endeavour to secure you the best appointment most convenient to you, or select another garage for you if they can accommodate the date and time you required.

Click the link in your booking confirmation email. Simply forward an email to info@bookmymotandservice.com with the new date required and we will move the booking for you, alternatively, hit the EDIT button on your confirmation email and change the booking.

If circumstances dictate you can no longer attend your booking on the date and time booked, or you simply wish to cancel, please email info@bookmymotandservice.com and we can make arrangements to cancel.

Contact the garage to see if the appointment can be re-arranged. If the garage is unable we’ll  find a garage at a suitable time and day for your appointment.

Our garages set their own prices. If this does happen please make us aware of this incorrect price so we can contact our garage partner so they can update the prices.

 

I’m unhappy with the service received at your garage partner regarding the work I booked through Book my MOT and Service.

 

Try initially to resolve this with the garage to see if they are willing to correct the issue. If not we recommend that you leave them a review on Book my MOT and Service. This will encourage our customer services team to resolve this.

Once the booking is complete and the work carried out, you will receive an email asking you to leave a review for our garage partner. Click the link and leave your review.
